EU Right of Withdrawal Policy

This EU Right of Withdrawal Policy applies to consumers located in the European Union who purchase goods from Poppy & Bean through our online store. This Policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

1. Right to Withdraw

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

For orders delivered in multiple shipments, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the last item.

If the withdrawal period expires on a non-working day, the deadline is extended until the next working day where applicable.

2. How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement before the withdrawal period expires.

You may exercise this right by using the clearly labeled online withdrawal function named "Exercise EU Right of Withdrawal" available on our website, customer account area, order status page, or return portal where available.

After receiving an electronic withdrawal request, we will confirm receipt on a durable medium, such as E-mail.

4. Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from your purchase, we will reimburse payments received from you for the returned goods, including the least expensive standard delivery option offered at the time of purchase where required by applicable law.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise.

5. Return of Goods

You must send back the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless the return is due to defective, damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming goods, or unless applicable law requires otherwise.

6. Condition of Returned Garments

You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. For vintage clothing items, this means trying on the garment as you would in a store, with care appropriate to the garment's age and delicate nature.

To ensure a full refund, please return garments in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and with all original tags and labels still attached. We recommend handling vintage pieces with extra care when trying on, as delicate fabrics and construction may be more susceptible to damage.

Garments returned with makeup stains, deodorant marks, pet hair, strong odors, or other signs of use beyond what is necessary to try them on may be subject to a reduction in refund to account for the diminished value.

7. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain goods, including:

Goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized.
Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery. For hygiene reasons, underwear, swimwear, and earrings cannot be returned if the hygiene seal or packaging has been opened or removed, unless they are defective.

Other exceptions permitted by applicable law may also apply.

8. Defective or Non-Conforming Goods
